A film makeup kit isn't a collection of products you like. It's a system built around what you'll actually need on set — under HD cameras, in unpredictable lighting, across 12–14 hour days.

The goal isn't to have everything. It's to have the right things, organized so you can find them in 30 seconds when the director is calling for camera.

03 — What Most Artists Forget

Sanitation. OSHA, EPA, and CDC compliance isn't optional on professional productions — it's expected. I'm Barbicide and Lucas-cide certified, ASCP insured, and every tool in my kit is disinfected between clients.

The other thing most artists forget: documentation supplies. A notebook, reference photos, and a continuity system aren't glamorous, but they're what separates a film artist from a makeup artist who does film occasionally.

04 — The Kit Rental Option

For productions that need specific equipment — airbrush setups, SFX kits, or specialty products — kit rental is available. This is quoted separately and can significantly expand what's achievable without the production sourcing their own supplies.
